1. Real planetary positions
Our interactive tools use Astronomy Engine version 2.1.19, an open-source astronomical library. We use geocentric vectors converted to the true ecliptic of date. Longitudes are divided into twelve 30° tropical zodiac signs. The calculations run in your browser, without sending your birthdays to our server.
2. What a date-only chart means
We use noon UTC on the entered birth date as a reference—not as an asserted birth time. With neither birth time nor birth timezone provided, we also sample a ±26-hour window around that reference to estimate how much each position may vary. The displayed uncertainty is estimated from five samples, not a formal numerical error bound. Where those samples span two Sun signs, both are shown.
We omit the natal Moon, Ascendant, houses, and any claim of exact event timing. A city by itself would not replace a recorded birth time. No arbitrary time is presented as a known birth time.
3. Birthday comparisons
With two dates we compare Sun, Venus, and Mars reference longitudes for five major angular relationships: 0°, 60°, 90°, 120°, and 180°. A 6° reference orb is used. The six closest reference matches are displayed. Birth-time uncertainty may make a shown match weaker, stronger, or outside that limit.
If only the partner’s Scorpio sign is known, no partner planet or aspect calculation is performed. The result is a broader sign-level discussion. We never invent a birthday or assign a compatibility percentage.
4. Horoscope periods and sampling
Your device’s local date selects tomorrow, the next calendar month, or the next calendar year. Each transit snapshot is taken at 12:00 UTC. Tomorrow has one snapshot; next month uses daily snapshots; next year uses snapshots seven days apart.
Transits are compared with reference natal Sun, Venus, and Mars using the same five angles and a 3° reference orb. The closest sampled occurrence of each planet/target/aspect combination is retained, then up to ten of the closest reference matches are shown (six for tomorrow). This is a selected overview, not a complete list or a ranking of life importance. Weekly sampling can miss short events, and a displayed date is not an exact peak.
5. Interpretation is not prediction
The prose is drawn from editorial astrological themes keyed to the displayed planet, target, and angle. It is not generated from hidden personal data. Accurate position calculations do not establish that astrological interpretations predict behavior or future events.
6. Sources and privacy
Celebrity birth dates and birthplaces are linked to their biography sources. We do not invent celebrity birth times or infer private traits. The new comparison and horoscope tools do not retain the birthdays you enter. The free birth chart reading uses your details for one request and does not store them.
